Brasserie L'Entrecote

High end service with pleasant and respectful staff, without feeling snobby. Just enough French accents, music and French decorations to make you feel like you have escaped Sydney. The food was magnifique and we were surprised by the great flavours, beautiful presentatio and the generous sizes. Their menu has just enough choices without feeling overwhelming (though we tried more than we could handle) and good drinks menu. Surprisingly busy even for a weekday, and they run out of parking quickly in the back (also very tight and only 1 car entry/ exit at a time). Highly recommend.

Shocked to find out this restaurant is owned by the same company as Bouillon L’Entrecote, because the services were one extreme to the other. Me and my partner went to the one in the city and had one of the poorest service and booking system we have ever experienced and we left our table without order any food because of the poor attitude and service from the staff. HOWEVER we had an absolute magical experience in The Brasserie! The manager Arnaud was so friendly, accommodating and looked after us so well for our dinner. The food was so delicious and with Arnaud’s help, we enjoyed the dishes like a true Frenchman. Every dish we have tried was delicious in texture, flavour and beautifully presented. Really recommend to try the snails with a bit of bread to soak up the delicious sauces, can be a tad bit salty by itself. Also, we loved pairing the Paris mash with the steak. Overall a 5/5 dinning experience, would love to come back soon to try other dishes!

I have never been this excited to write a review for a restaurant before. I dined at this incredible restaurant the other day for a very special occassion and was blown away by the incredible food but also the first class and phenomenol service that complemented it. Ill start with the food - the restaurant had a broad variety of some of the most popular French dishes from classic onion soup to escargots to tartare. We tried a number of different entres before diving into the incredible main meal which was the 900g T bone steak that was cooked to perfection. The main came with fries and salad by default which complemented the steak perfectly. We felt that every dish was made with passion and love, and to be frank the quality of the dishes reflected the same passion that was shared amongst the staff. All staff were incredibly accomodating during our dining experience, all were very very polite, professional and clearly love their jobs. I do have to give a very very special shoutout to the manager Arnaud who was by far one of the most incredible managers of a restaurant I've ever seen. Prior to attending our booking, Arnaud kindly organised a quiet seating area for us as requested (given it was a special occassion). He then offered us drinks on the house with a special dessert to celebrate the occasion. I really can't speak any higher of Arnaud and his team, and can't wait to return to your restaurant. Overall, I really can't recommend this place enough, it beats any French restaurant I've been to in Sydney by a longshot.

We have tried many French restaurants around Sydney and I think we have found “the one” that we want to go back very soon. Thank you Arnaud for taking care of us tonight, from the time we entered the restaurant, recommending dishes, drink and he is very friendly and other staff also very friendly. Overall for services I rated you 10/10. We are very happy with the food and just a touch of saltiness on the sauces on couple dishes. Definitely, we will be back very soon to try other dishes. 6/12/2023 we came back today and tried other new dishes and also ordered some of our old favourites. Thank You Arnaud for looking after us and you should be nominated the best in Customer Service in Sydney and other staff also very good as well.

This is a classy place! It has a light airy room, a good welcome and great staff. The food is excellent, there's a real attention to detail. My parmentier de canard was as good as any I've had in France. The steak 'faucon l'Entrecote' was excellent. A small but well chosen wine list, wines by the glass. Accessible straight off the street.

Brasserie L'Entrecôte was the perfect choice for my wife's birthday dinner. The atmosphere is fantastic, love the look of the place. The service is 11/10, so good I left a tip for the waiter which I rarely do. Attentive, polite, friendly and funny without ever being intrusive. Every dish we tried was excellent, from the duck to the steak, escargots and desserts (best Crème Brûlée ever!) and they organised a birthday profiterole for my wife. Merci beaucoup to all the staff!
